Blizzard anuncia oficialmente World of Warcraft 2

Actualizado : Nada de nada Desconsolados, parece ser que esta noticia es mas falsa que un duro de cuatro pesetas….Ni William Oliver es un responsable de desarrollo de WoW ni nada…. :(. Hubiese sido bonito de ser verdad. La noticia de Gamepur no está para nada confirmada 🙁

William Oliver Wellington, uno de los responsables del desarrollo del nuevo MMO acaba de confirmar la noticia que muchos seguidores de World of Warcraft estaban esperando. Se trata de World of Warcraft 2 que llegará el próximo invierno a nuestros equipos compatibles. Según una nota de prensa enviada a los medios por William el desarrollo se ha mantenido en secreto tanto tiempo porque querían que los jugadores disfrutaran del primer World of Warcraft tranquilamente.
De paso ha facilitado algunas de los detalles de la nueva entrega entre los que caben destacar que el nivel máximo de los personajes será de 100 y se simplifica el nivel de clases a tres diferentes y la supresión de la los personajes que conforman la Alianza. Así que únicamente habrá dos bandos que se enfrentarán por el poder. Por último ha confirmado que los servidores de la primera entrega se cerrarán justo cuando World of Warcraft 2 sea lanzado.

I am pleased to announce that World of Warcraft 2 is indeed real and on it’s way. We have kept it secret this long because we wanted to people to enjoy the first game as long as they could without wondering when the new one will come out. You will be happy to know that the next game will be released by the holidays of this year! Now I’m sure you are wondering what awesome features will be in this iteration. While I cannot say much, I can release this information. The level cap will be raised to 100. Now, you’ll be able to spend even more time leveling that favorite character. We also decided to streamline the class system into three systems to keep things from getting two confused. You will now be able to choose between a damager, a tank, or a healer. We’ve also decided to get rid of the Alliance. No one seems to want to play as that side anyways. From here on out, the Horde will be the only side to choose.

In order to keep the Player vs. Player interaction going, we have decided to cause a civil war breakout within the Horde. One side will be called the Horde Alliance while the other side will be the Horde Rebels.

Finally, we’ve always had a laugh when another MMO was released stating it was going to be the WoW killer. Only we could create a WoW killer. How? Simple. When World of Warcraft 2 is released, the servers for World of Warcraft will be shut down. We literally will be the WoW killer as people won’t be able to play that game anymore.
